Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On

Porn has gone mainstream; the question is, can we handle it? This exploration of the intersection of sex and technology is told through the stories of the people whose lives are defined by the current explosion of internet porn—whether they're creating it, consuming it, or both. The Festival will debut an episode titled "Women on Top," directed by Rashida Jones, which explores a subculture of women bringing feminist philosophies into their workplace, with the idea that female-friendly porn can exist.

TITAN

A woman lives in a glass house on a cliff overlooking the ocean. She hypnotizes herself by piecing together fragments of literature - French, German, and American - which we hear through her voiceover. The film progressively slides into more and more fantasy imagery, imagery that anchors her thoughts on dreams, reoccurring ideas, structure, animal magnetism, and side effects of exploring and getting lost in literature of the past.

Directed by Trent Gidaro and starring Langley Fox Hemingway. Visit IMDB for more information.

"Knife-like, Flower-like, Like Nothing at All in the World" - William Saroyan.

While a man's past experience needs to be surgically removed, somewhere a woman takes bath and contemplates delicate & pleasurable kinds of pain... Tis all Blue.

Daniela Sherer's animated abstract-narrative set to a lush 65 piece orchestra piece, my graduate thesis for USC's SMPTV program. It is the culmination of many years of dear friendship and effortless collaboration

The Most Fun I've Ever Had With My Pants On follows two childhood girlfriends Andy and Liv who reunite to scatter Andy's dad's ashes from LA to Austin where Liv will audition for the role of a vixen spy in a noir film. Between performing mini-funerals in surreal southwestern landscapes, the girls practice being bad. Hilarious dialog, military cross-dressing, an incredible underground soundtrack, and performances by Sarah Hagan (Freaks and Geeks, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and writer/director Drew Denny in this mixed media dark comedy that interweaves autobiography, documentary, fiction and camp.

When Akin arrives at the farm, he finds his job. This is what he expected to find. When Sarah opens her legs, she finds someone watching. This is what she expected to find. When Jeremiah opens his mouth, frightening things come out of it. This has come to be expected. But what happens by the creek next to the cow. This was not expected. Thou Wast Mild & Lovely is a highly intimate and subtly erotic thriller inspired by John Steinbeck's East of Eden and featuring love, death, guns, goats, a farmer, his grown daughter and the secrets they no longer succeed in keeping.

Contributed original song, "Obvious Yacht Rock Wizard".

Dustland

Dustland

D    U    S    T    L    A    N    D

Once upon a time, a monstrous dust storm engulfed the land, stranding an itinerant circus and leaving it without hope or purpose. A high wire walker, lured by a tune hidden in the wind, leaves the circus to find the melody revealed in the shape of mysterious fiddler waiting at the crossroads. The stranger presents her with an hourglass that can stop the wind, but only until the sand runs out.
